Parenting Support & Emotion Coaching

Bridget supports parents to help their children to understand different emotions they experience, why they occur, and how to handle them. Helping children manage their emotions while we are trying to handle our own emotions, can be a challenging task. Bridget has a deep understanding of attachment styles, and understands that as we parent, we often learn and remember things about our own journey that may trigger us and impact on the way we behave.

Bridget is a Tuning in to Kids trained facilitator. Whilst working together, Bridget aims to empower you to tune into your child's emotions, be able to see things from your child's perspective, and to make your child feel heard and respected.

Endometriosis and pain management

Mental Health support can be a critical part of Endometriosis treatment by assisting you to process your experiences, pain and frustrations.

Often Endometriosis is poorly understood, and the physical, emotional and social impact on women (and people assigned female at birth) is often overlooked. Relationships with partners, family, friends and employers can also be impacted and talking through this can be beneficial.

Bridget works with her clients to develop strategies for coping with the physical and emotional impacts of endometriosis; learn practical self help and relaxation techniques to manage pain and stress; identify emotional challenges impacting on coping strategies, and help you discover your internal resources to help you heal at a deeper level.

Bridget has undertaken further training in the area of endometriosis and pain management, and has significant experience working with this client group as a women's health counsellor and in her role as a fertility counsellor.

Special interest in working with women with ADHD

Women (and those assigned female at birth) with ADHD may face additional challenges in their social, work and parenting lives due to societal expectations and stereotypes.

There are many tools and coping strategies available to people with ADHD. Everybody needs something different. Bridget will hear your unique story, understand what's already working for you, and work with you to manage your symptoms and challenges.
