Medicare Rebates

Bridget is registered with Medicare to provide evidence based treatment and Focussed Psychological Strategies. Medicare rebates are available for up to ten (10) individual sessions, and ten (10) group work sessions, per calendar year (January - December).

To be eligible for the rebate, you will need to meet with your GP (booking a long appointment is always recommended), and obtain a Referral Letter and Mental Health Care Plan.

A GP review and re-referral  is required after the number of sessions on your initial referral is exhausted (usually six (6) sessions).

Bridget also provides Medicare rebated  sessions with a GP referral through Non Directive Pregnancy Support Counselling.
